JS PROM 2025: A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

Under the glowing lights and the rhythm of laughter echoing through the GIS Gymnasium, February 27, 2025 unfolded into a night that Grade 9 and Grade 10 students of Gama Integrated School will carry with them for years to come. As the clock struck 6:00 PM, the gym transformed into a haven of elegance, excitement, and youthful dreams, setting the perfect stage for JS Prom 2025.
The night shimmered with simple yet classy decorations that framed the gym in warmth and cheer. Dressed in shining gowns and sharp suits, students stepped onto the floor not just as classmates, but as young men and women celebrating milestones, friendships, and memories made along the way. Every smile, every pose for the camera, and every burst of laughter painted the evening with happiness.
Cheers and joy filled the air during one of the most anticipated moments of the night for the crowning of the Prom Royalty. John Patrick Malig of Grade 9 was named Prom King, while Angel Villamor of Grade 10 gracefully claimed the title of Prom Queen. Adding sparkle to the evening, Angel Cyone Pilatan of Grade 10 captured hearts as she was awarded Best in Long Gown and High Heels, embodying confidence, poise, and elegance as she walked the stage.
Beyond the glamour and camera shots, the night held moments rich in meaning. One of the most touching highlights was the Passing of the Key, a symbolic gesture of leadership and continuity. With sincerity in her voice, Mica Ella Caro of Grade 10 delivered a heartfelt message before handing the Key to Edziel Jhon Cachuela of Grade 9. Edziel’s response resonated with hope, unity, and friendship, values that echoed throughout the gym and into the hearts of his fellow students.
As the evening deepened, candles were lit one by one, glowing gently across the gymnasium. This candle-lighting ceremony became a quiet yet powerful moment, symbolizing hope for the future and the shared journey ahead. In that soft light, excitement blended with reflection, reminding everyone that the night was not just about celebration, but about dreams waiting to be pursued.
